Michael Krafft has had an extensive and diverse career within the business, employment and vocational training sectors, having worked as a business owner, industry consultant, traineeship development officer and Job Search Australia (JSA) provider in the not-for-profit sector. He is currently employed as the Executive Manager Development with Access Community Services Limited (ACSL).
Over the last five years, he has overseen the development of ACSL’s Employment Programs Division, growing it into a multi-regional programme, and securing Queensland’s first (and only) Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD)-specific JSA contract. He has initiated a range of business and social enterprise projects that have strengthened the connections between ACSL, its clients and the wider community.
Michael’s knowledge and skills in business, employment, and regional and sector development have been recognised through his appointment to a number of boards. He is Deputy Chair and Qld & NT Director of Jobs Australia. In four years on the board, he has made significant contributions through his diverse knowledge and experience of operating employment programs that specifically target CALD people in one of the most disadvantaged areas in Australia.
Michael is also Deputy Chair of the Brisbane Multicultural Arts Council.
