2023 Festival of Learning

The biennial Festival of Learning is a week-long celebration of a Learning City whereby students showcase and celebrate learning across the 11 schools that make up the Learning Coalition in Greater Springfield.

With over 30 events across the week, where the theme of taking advantage and leverage of our own first-class opportunities came to fruition with events held to showcase Brighton Homes Arena, Mater Hospital and Brookwater Gold Club as well as impressive music, dance, creative, visual arts and cultural events. Of course, academic favourites such as the math competition, a new drone delivery experience and other science and EdTech opportunities were on offer throughout the weeklong festival. A highlight for 2023 was a very special guest with Ash Barty reading and answering questions from the early years students which was live streamed across the Learning Coalition schools so all had the opportunity to be inspired by our resident champion.
