Connect to Employment Event

Five weeks ago, Springfield Regional Jobs Committee held their first Connect to Employment Event where 15 young people were invited to ‘speed-interview’ with local employers. We cannot be more excited to say 14 of these young people were made offers of employment from this event!

This event would not have been possible without the support of our dedicated Committee Members along with Roz Bowd from Link and Launch, however it is the business owners and managers of the Springfield businesses who attended and have made offers of employment to these young people that we absolutely cannot thank enough!

The Springfield Regional Jobs Committee is proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government and undertakes these events to connect residents of Greater Springfield to opportunities for employment and training as it is the aim of the Committee to see all residents of Greater Springfield who want employment be in employment!
