The Federal Government, under the leadership of Kristy McBain, Minister for Regional Development, Local Government and Territories, recently announced the next phase of funding for RDAs across the nation. This funding commitment underscores the critical role RDAs play in fostering regional growth and innovation. The Ipswich & West Moreton team is enthusiastic about welcoming a new wave of Chairs and Committee members to continue advancing positive change in the region.

Regional Development Australia serves as a vital link between all levels of government, addressing local challenges and unlocking opportunities for communities. The organisation’s efforts include identifying funding pathways, supporting organisations with grant proposals, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance regional prosperity.

“We remain committed to building a brighter, more prosperous future for our region. By collaborating with government, businesses, and community stakeholders, we aim to create sustainable growth and opportunities for all,” said Chair Janice Holstein.

As the Ipswich & West Moreton region looks to the future, RDA’s focus on strategic partnerships and innovative solutions continues to pave the way for meaningful progress.
