Janice Holstein

Chair

Janice is a Justice of the Peace as well as a Civil Marriage Celebrant. As a former business owner, editor, and publisher, Janice has involved herself in many community groups, including: Lockyer Valley Crime Stoppers Area Committee – Chairperson.

Cr Nicole Jonic

Deputy Chair

Cr Jonic is a long term Ipswich resident and loves living in the eastern suburbs together with her husband, Julian, and their two young children. Cr Jonic is an Accountant and Tax Agent, establishing her own Ipswich firm almost a decade ago.

Katey Cochrane

Treasurer

Katey has been working and raising her family in Ipswich for close to 20 years.  At TAFE Queensland, Katey actively supports Women in Trades and diversity and inclusion programs whilst matching skills and training opportunities for local growth and emerging industries.  With a background in Education, Media and Finance, Katey has a solid understanding of governance and performance management.

Michael Bishop

Cr Michael Bishop

Secretary

Michael Bishop is currently employed as the Executive Officer of the Rural Allied Health Generalist Accreditation Council but has a long association with Allied Health Professional leadership and management. He was a founding member of the NRHA, SARRAH and ARRAHT, and has completed extensive allied health professional consultancy around Australia and overseas.

Cr Duncan McInnes

Member

Cr Duncan McInnes OAM has served on the Scenic Rim Regional Council since 2012, becoming Deputy Mayor in 2019. A lifelong Radford resident, he’s involved in a family dairy business that produces four million litres of milk annually.

Cheryl Gaedtke

Member

A proud long-term resident of Somerset, particularly the Kilcoy region, Cheryl brings nearly four decades of dedicated service to local government. Since starting her career at 16, she has gained extensive experience in leadership, governance, and team collaboration. Cheryl is known for her commitment to setting clear goals, fostering constructive feedback, and consistently achieving results.

Katrina McNie

Member

Katrina has been in the Employment Services Industry for 25 years in both Brisbane South East and Wivenhoe. She is currently employed at ETC as the Regional Manager for the Workforce Australia Contract in Wivenhoe and has lived in the Scenic Rim raising her two sons for the last 15 years. Katrina is passionate about people and the community and is driven to see people take positive steps in achieving their goals.

Cr Anthony Wilson

Member

Cr Anthony Wilson was elected at the Local Government election in March 2024 and is serving his first term as Councillor. Lockyer Valley born and raised, Cr Wilson believes he is fortunate to live in this part of the world, and his goal as a Councillor is to ensure each area of the region is given equal opportunity to thrive.
