Community Energy Zone Project Update

Last week meeting of the RDAIWM-managed program, the Community Energy Zone, was held with the Ipswich Council regarding our MOU, which is being developed. This included a visit by fellow program members, including RDAIWM Committee Member James Sturges, with a briefing at Rheinmetall. They are building their solar capacity with a few thousand installed panels. A think tank with 14 stakeholders was conducted at QUT regarding a possible ARENA Community Battery bid, and members attended a briefing by the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur discussing the Innovation topic once again.
