Update on Mater Hospital Springfield Project

Regional Development Australia Ipswich & West Moreton is thrilled to provide an exciting update on the Mater Hospital Springfield project, as it enters into a new stage of development. The Springfield Regional Jobs Committee is actively following and investing in the progress of this much-needed resource, and what it will mean for job seekers and the wider community in Greater Springfield.

The upcoming public hospital is set to deliver a wide range of healthcare services, including 174 public overnight and same-day beds, an Emergency Department & Intensive Care Unit, ‘Mater Mothers’ maternity services, more operating theatres and endoscopy suites, and increased clinical capability for more complex care to be delivered locally.

This significant investment in healthcare services will benefit not only the local community but also the wider region, by providing increased healthcare capacity and improving health outcomes for all.
