Urban Precincts and Partnerships Program Open Now for Applications!

The Australian Government has launched the $150 million Urban Precincts and Partnerships Program (uPPP) to support transformative urban investment. This always-open, non-competitive funding initiative aims to unify urban places, boost local economies, and serve communities by fostering collaboration among governments, businesses, and residents.

The uPPP offers two funding streams:

  1. Precinct Development and Planning: Grants between $500,000 and $5 million are available for master planning, design, consultation, and partnership formation.
  2. Precinct Delivery: Grants ranging from $5 million to $50 million are available for the construction of key infrastructure and buildings within precincts.

The program encourages the development of multi-purpose urban spaces tailored to local needs and visions. Applications are open now, with a focus on delivering place-based projects that can act as catalysts for further investment.
