RDA Ipswich & West Moreton CEO Rees Banks joined RDA Logan & Redlands Acting Chair Alexis Matthews-Frederick and RDA Darling Downs and South West Chair Rouz Fard for two University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) engagement events on 19 and 20 October 2026.Hosted by UniSQ Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Paul Mazerolle and the university's leadership team, the events brought together community leaders, industry representatives and regional stakeholders to share ideas and explore opportunities for the future.
From An Evening in Beaudesert with UniSQ to the UniSQ Community Leadership Roundtable, conversations covered everything from regional growth and workforce development to education pathways and building stronger partnerships across our communities.
With our regions continuing to grow and evolve, it's opportunities like these that help bring the right people together, share local knowledge and turn conversations into meaningful collaboration.
A big thank you to UniSQ for bringing regional voices to the table and continuing to champion the opportunities ahead for our communities!
